IslandiaVillage.com holds your privacy in the highest regard.  Your personal financial information is protected by state-of-the-art security technologies through our payment processor PayPal. We will never ask for your credit card or bank check information via email.

Refund Policy:

We want you to be perfectly satisfied with your purchases.  If for any reason, a selection doesn't please you, simply return the item and we'll either exchange it or issue a refund.

How to return product:

Please contact us before returning any item.  We will issue an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), along with instructions, a Call Tag and pickup.  If you wish to return merchandise that is not damaged from shipment or has no defects in workmanship, you are responsible for paying the return shipping charges.  Please contact us via e-mail at service@islandiavillage.com to arrange for any returns.

Shipping:

We strive for all orders to be processed and shipped within 1 business day. Large orders may take 7-10 days to ship and items that are made when ordered can take 2-3 weeks to ship.  Some items in your order may be processed separately and shipped separately, and therefore may be delivered on different days.  You will receive an email confirmation when your order has been shipped.  see Order Process..

Our standard shipping is FEDEX Ground or UPS Ground. In some instances we use USPS Priority or Express Mail (at our discretion) when it makes the most sense. Please note that FEDEX & UPS cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

Delivery

Ground shipping can take up to 5-7 days (within the 48 contiguous US states).

Shipping Charge

The shipping charge is based on the pre-tax total amount of goods in each individual order to a single address (within the 48 contiguous states).  This does not necessarily mean the entire order is contained one shipment and there is no addition charge for multiple packages in a single order.

International

We ship to Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK on a regular basis, but there can be restrictions to other countries.

We charge you our standard flat-rate shipping charge plus the actual additional amount we pay the international carrier. Typically this is a nominal amount and all international shipments to these countries are by express service.

We use U.S. Postal Service Global Express or Federal Express for international destinations to keep the delivery fast and reliable at a low cost.  We will invoice the customer for the nominal additional amount, prior to shipping. 

Please contact us for estimates, or if you need special shipping and handling needs. We want all of our customers to have the quickest/safest delivery service of our products.

We ship to Alaska, Hawaii and territories of the United States in the same manner.

Sales Tax

We charge 7.75% sales tax on all orders shipped within the State of California.  The sales tax calculated during checkout is an estimate; it may vary slightly when your order is processed.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, eCheck and PayPal.

For your credit card security, IslandiaVillage.com reserves the right to request additional identification.  If this is needed, we will email you.  Your order will be processed as soon as we receive the requested information.

Order Status

We notify you via email of the acceptance, processing and shipping of your order.  Please allow ten days after your order has been placed, before assuming there is a problem.  We do keep you advised if there is any problem with your order.

Most orders will be processed and shipped within 1 or 2 days. Large orders may take 7-10 days to process, unless otherwise noted. Some product items that are made when ordered take 2-3 weeks to process. You will receive an email confirmation after your order has been shipped.

We strive to keep inventory information current, however there can be situations when a particular item is out-of-stock.  In these cases we will backorder the item and notify you when to expect the shipment.  You have the option of canceling the order, however we assure you that we will do all that is possible for the order to be filled (unless the item is no longer available to us). We will refund all money to you, if you choose to cancel any back ordered item.

Please send us email immediately if you want to change a order you recently placed.  Before the final processing and shipping of your order is the only opportunity to make changes without incurring additional cost to you.
